Description of Role
This position will assist in the HR department with collecting, processing, announcing, and distributing STARFLEET volunteer opportunities. Primary duties including checking the HR email box for new postings, accessing the HR WordPress website and creating job postings, taking any incoming applications and sending them to the correct department for review. Also, announcing new openings on various SFI email lists and social media channels.
Computer access with decent internet speed. Basic typing and word processing skills (Microsoft Office, Open Office or similar, compatible program necessary). Ability to save to PDF is helpful. Previous experience with WordPress not required but must be willing to learn basic functions. Additionally, good grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills are encouraged. Must be willing to have social media accounts on Facebook and Discord, as well as be subscribed to various SFI email lists.
