Deputy Commanding Officer: Forces Command – Operations

Description of Role
This staff Officer is the executive officer or second in command of Forces Command. They are responsible for oversight & coordination of the primary staff that is located in the United States & Canada. They are responsible for corps challenges held within their territory, such as Brigade Challenges or Wilderness Challenges. Should the COFORCECOM become unable to or unwilling to perform their duties, the DCOFORCECOM will take temporary command of the Forces Command Department as directed by either the Deputy Commandant or Commandant of the SFMC. They will work with & sometimes assist the SFMC Awards Officer.
Skills Needed
• Good Written & Verbal Skills
• Able to manage teams of marines
• Good Time Management Skills
• Understanding Google Office Suite (access to Microsoft Office a plus)
• Mentor staff to improve their Forces Command skills
• Coordinate with other offices in the STARFLEET Marine Corps, STARFLEET or its various auxiliaries.
• Understanding of how PII Information works (complete STARFLEET Data Protection Policy (SFDPP) training before assuming office)

• UOS100, UOS300, UOS400 & UOS500
• Complete a -301 course in either PD, LD or OD (Suggested)

21 or older
