13 BDE SNCOIC

Description of Role
To assist the 13th BDE OIC and staff in overseeing the success of BDE responsibilities, and missions accomplishments. You will be engaging communities of various cultures that have at least one common denominator; science-fiction fandom.

Duties include:
The 13th BDE Staff Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge (SNCOIC) is responsible for acting as an advocate and first point of contact for the Enlisted members of the 13th BDE, developing the Non-Commissioned Officer chain of support by recruiting and retaining non-commissioned Officers at the unit level, advising the 13th BDE OIC and staff on issues that concern the enlisted ranks within the units; and promoting and assisting in the organization of community service activities at the brigade level. The SNCOIC shall also work directly with the Sergeant Major Forces Command (SMFC) on the development of the Non-Commissioned Officer Corps (NCOC). You will hold a billet that usually holds the rank of a SgtMaj.

Training Requirements (if applicable)
The SNCOIC shall be at least 21 years of age, be identified in the STARFLEET database as a Marine (either Active or Reserve), and must hold an enlisted rank, with an enlisted rank being E6 & above. It is also preferred that the SNCOIC have served at least one full year as an enlisted member of STARFLEET. Located within the 13th or 14th BDE is preferred.

The SNCOIC must complete the standard introduction to STARFLEET course (OTS), PD100, PD130, PD201, PD210, LD101, LD102, LD103, LD104, LD105, NCO100, NCO151, NCO201, NCO251, & NCO 301 as well STARFLEET Data Protect Policy (SFDPP). With exception of PD100 and the SFDPP, training courses not obtained can be completed within six months from appointment.
