| Description of Role |

The Chief of Operations plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of STARFLEET Intelligence (SFIN). The Chief of Operations oversees a wide range of operational activities, with a particular focus on social media engagement, challenges, and community-building initiatives. This position requires a dynamic individual who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
● Challenges and Contests:
○ Design and coordinate intelligence-related challenges and contests for SFIN members.
○ Collaborate with other departments to create interactive and stimulating activities.
○ Evaluate participation and provide recognition to outstanding contributors.
○ Design, create, and issue certificates for challenges and events.
● Operational Coordination:
○ Work closely with members, department heads, and staff to streamline operational processes.
● Community Engagement:
○ Foster a sense of camaraderie and teamwork within SFIN.
● Reports and Metrics:
○ Prepare regular reports on operational activities, including social media metrics, participation rates, and contest outcomes.
○ Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve performance.
● Education and Training:
○ Design and coordinate intelligence-related education and certification for SFIN members.
○ Collaborate with other departments to create interactive and stimulating activities.
○ Evaluate participation and provide recognition to outstanding contributors.
○ Register training metrics in Membership Database
○ Design, create, and issue certificates for the training program. |
| Skills Needed |
|
● Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and/or OpenOffice
● Be proficient in using Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets
● Have basic experience working with spreadsheets
● Familiarity with Mailchimp is a plus
● Have a working computer and internet access
● Have good communication skills |
