SFMC Awards Director

Description of Role
The Commandant of the STARFLEET Marine Corps is looking for an Awards Director to oversee the SFMC Awards program.

The Director will receive the nominations, reach out to the award owners (the General Staff; Brigade, Battalion, and MSG OICs; Region Coordinators) for approval, create the award certificates, email them, and enter them in the database. The Director will also liaise with INTELCOM staff for archival purposes, INFOCOM staff for announcement purposes, and FORCECOM for annual awards.

This is not a position that can be done every 10 days or so. The timely recognition of our Marines is the goal. The successful individual will strive for a 24-48 hour turn-around. Attention to detail (dates, spelling) is a paramount. Research for previous awards may be required. Must be available on email, Facebook, Messenger, and Discord. I’m looking for a self-starter, someone with the ability to work on their own without constant supervision.
