| Description of Role | |
| The Director of Annual Awards is responsible for processing annual awards, overseeing the voting process, submitting the list of nominees and winner to the Chief of Member Services, and upon completion of the process submitting all files to be archived on the Member Services Google Drive. The Director will work with the Asst. Director of Annual Awards who assists with processing nominations.
The Annual Awards process is conducted January through June. June through December the Director works on updating the process with suggested edits and/or making adjustments to correct any issues that arose during the process. |

| Skills Needed | |
| Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build a good rapport at the regional, chapter and individual level. The Director will be working with Regional Coordinators and/or their designated representatives as well as members of the Executive Committee. Organizational Skills: Ability to compile research into an organized file or form and to meet deadlines. Adaptability and Flexibility: Be able to adapt quickly to unexpected changes/circumstances and the ability to handle changing situations and pressure. IT Skills: · Microsoft Office or similar, compatible program. · Basic knowledge of Excel spreadsheet · Creating files and documents in Google Drive · Compressing documents into zip files |

| OTS, OCC, SFDPP 101, SFDPP 102, Current year’s SFDPP Recertification
MUST be available to work with the current Director of Recognition during this year’s Annual Award Cycle! |
