Group Commanders serve as the Chief SOCOM Commander and representative in their respective STARFLEET Region. Group Commanders are the SOCOM “ambassadors” to Region Coordinators and other STARFLEET Auxiliary representatives. They are key advisors to the SOCOM Commander and Deputy Commander on region-specific issues and events. The Group Commander empowers and encourages Team Leaders and Operatives to recruit members to SOCOM and non-members to both SFI and SOCOM. Group Commanders are appointed by the Commander, SOCOM and report to the Deputy Commander. The new structure will have nine Group Commands and one Team Leader position for the new Section 31. This structure reflects current numbers but also the best scalable structure for anticipated future growth. Primary duties include: · Recruit and assist other’s efforts to recruit Operatives. · Develop and/or leverage contacts in “empty” regions to assist with recruiting and eventual Group Command · Develop Team Leaders and other future leaders and regular communications with them. · Assist Team Leaders with submitting reports if they have issues or questions · Gather and review all submitted reports and submit them to the SOCOM Chief of Staff or their designee by the 1st of each month · Advise the SOCOM Deputy Commander on any issues with the reports or issues submitted on the reports. |

| Must be 18 years of age and a member in good standing of SFSOCOM
Must reside within the Group Command for which you apply Must possess or earn within six months of appointment a Grade 2 basic training certification |
