Chief Financial Officer – EC Member

| Seeking qualified a member to fulfill this position on the Executive Committee.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is the seventh in command of the STARFLEET International Fan Organization and is responsible for reporting STARFLEET finances. The person in the CFO position is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts as well as preparing the annual budget and facilitating the tax form 990 signature for the CS. The CFO must be willing and able to work with any outside professional accounting firm or appointed individual to oversee, maintain and distribution of STARFLEET’S finances and Scholarship programs. The CFO is appointed by the CS and should be 23 years of age and a member in good standing for a minimum of 3 years prior to the date when their term of office begins. The CFO shall report at least once a month to the CS and prepare quarterly books for CPA certification. Willing to work all diverse members and have patience to do so. |

| Skills Needed | |
| Have an unwavering sense of the Chain of Command understanding of the confidentiality of the nature of the position. Further duties are to attend all Executive Committee meeting and ECAB meets, submit reports to the Command Status Reports and to the Communique as schedule. • MS Office (word, exel.etc) • Google Sheets, docs, Calendar • Computer skills is a must • knowledge of Xero Bookkeeping software, Quickbooks or the like with a willingness to learn if need be. |
