Description of Role
STARFLEET Marine Corps Information Command (INFOCOM) is looking for an experienced desktop publishing person to join the Information Command Team to help publish the various manuals of the SFMC. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their knowledge by providing samples of their past work.

Time put into this position would be open-ended. We are looking for a minimum commitment of 5 hours a week. This commitment could vary depending on what manuals are being edited such as the SFMC Marine Force Manual or you may be tasked with creating a new manual from scratch.

We are asking for someone 18+ to fill this role but would consider an SFMC Cadet (16+) if they possessed the right skill set.

Skills Needed
* Working knowledge of Desktop Publishing
* Access to Microsoft Publisher is a must as the current generation of manuals are written in that format. The easiest way to do this is to subscribe to Microsoft365.
* Must have good grammar & spelling as you may be tasked to edit existing manuals.
* Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
Training Requirements (if applicable)
* We ask that you take the following courses:
STARFLEET Academy: Officer Training School (OTS)
STARFLEET Marine Corps Academy: OD100, OD102, OD151 PD100, PD130 UOS100* All current * SFDPP requirements must be satisfied.
